Staff Accountant -Shared Services North America Salary Range:\$60,000.00 To 70,000.00 Annually The Staff Accountant will beresponsible to ensure the integrity of financial records and variousaccount analyses throughout the month for Shared Services and the NorthAmerican entities of Cartamundi Inc. What you\'ll do as a StaffAccountant: ? Perform day-to-day tasks related to banking activities,reconciling accounts, and reporting data to management and staff ofShared Services ? Use and monitor the proper internal controls andprocedures to ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded? Prepare and input journal entries, review variances, and reclassaccounts for month-end settlement and closing process ? Analyze andreconcile accounts to ensure the proper treatment of bookings, correcterrors, and communicate process errors across North American sites toprevent further occurrence ? Prepare and analyze various weekly/monthlyreports ? Work with Shared Services staff to ensure timely and accurateposting of transactions ? Assist Shared Services Finance Director withvarious projects on process improvements benefitting North Americansites ? Assist Shared Services Finance Director with State Sales Taxfilings, State Tax Notices for North American sites, and resolve issues? Implement additional internal controls to review and resolvebookkeeping errors/issues ? Other duties assigned as Shared Servicesdevelops and grows We\'re looking for a Staff Accountant with:Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance 3-5 years of accountingexperience, preferably in manufacturing Hands-on experience with filingstate sales tax returns in multiple states Experienced working with SAPfor accounting and finance Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills Excellenttime management and communication skills Analytical thinking and gooddecision-making skills Physical requirements/working conditions: Ourmanufacturing Plant is comprised of 1 million+ square feet of enclosedoffice and manufacturing space.
