Our PIMS Common Platform team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced business systems analyst to add to our winning culture and track record of delivering exceptional solutions to our users.
This position will play a key role in interfacing with enterprise teams to perform system analysis, requirements gathering, project leadership, and building relationships with 3rd party vendors and the business area. The ideal candidate will have project leadership experience, systems and data analytic experience identifying and solving business problems, and experience implementing solutions with 3rd party software vendors.
Daily Responsibilities: Work closely with management on project planning, resource allocation and vendor management Lead a team on small-to-large efforts across all aspects of the SDLC Work independently and within a team environment to complete development efforts Communicate effectively with business team members Proactively communicate with management and the team on issues and/or any system changes Document current and proposed business processes and/or business rules Document technical design models, specifications, and test results Serve as an application expert on assigned application(s)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience 5-9 years business experience in systems analysis 5-9 years business systems analysis experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment 5-9 years' experience analyzing problems and translating into solutions 5-9 years' experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g. SQL server, Oracle) 5-9 years' experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban 5-9 years agile requirements management experience including user story creation Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization Knowledge of Infrastructure, related systems client/server, workstations and servers Basic concepts of Item/Product master data in Retail and/or Manufacturing industry domain Experience performing data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating finding to technical and non-technical audiences Experience and knowledge of project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes Experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies and standards Good understanding of cloud solution architecture patterns and design principles, of different attributes for cloud application availability and scalability, and the ability to propose optimized design for cloud Demonstrated multi-tasking and time management skills to manage workload, to drive the work of others, and to adhere to deadlines and high quality

Year End Bonus
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month's extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.
