What the day will look like

The AON Sr. Voluntary Benefit Analyst works closely with the Director of VB Operations System Quality Control on all assigned U2X system cases to ensure carrier set up documentation is complete for build purposes and enrollment system accuracy. In this role, you will be responsible for testing completion of the Voluntary Benefits programmed in the enrollment platform using the tools specifically designed to accomplish this task. Your tasks will vary from day to day based on the current client implementation phase.

Responsibilities:

Reviews the carrier build packets to make certain that all requirements are contained to include: rate information in the specified format, any state and/or carrier requirements; and required underwriting questions that will be built into the system

Is the first point of contact for questions from the client team

Serves as Liaison between the client teams and carrier contacts to address any discrepancies with system Build Packet information.

Possesses working knowledge of the plan design document (PDD) for each client. Information contained in this document along with the testing tools will be primarily used for system/platform testing to ensure system accuracy

Completes system testing for our AON VB offer using the testing tools for each case prior to open enrollment Go Live date

Responsible for tracking issues found with system testing for feedback to the client implementation team

Interacts (Open communication) with the assigned implementation team Benefit Analyst and System Analyst to ascertain employee benefits guidelines including but not limited to employee classes, waiting periods, etc. necessary for testing purposes to ensure a successful enrollment experience for each of our clients.

Participates and completes all training available to our Business Unit

Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Coordinates with our India Team members to provide:

A Debrief for the assigned client and all pertinent testing tools for the assigned client

Serves as liaison between our India Team and the client teams to ensure the testing process is moving forward with no issues and provides guidance as needed

Monitors testing progress with the assigned team member and is responsible for posting all issues found with the system in the Main testing log for fixes and resolutions.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

5+ year Benefits plan administration background

5+ year customer service background

Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas and working within templates.

Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and other MS Office products along with Adobe products.

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Education

HS Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $67,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Lake Mary, FL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
