The Sr. Vendor Manager will be the P&L owner for a major product category within the Kitchen space, with responsibility for generating growth, creating and maintaining strong partnerships with vendors, expanding selection, driving operational improvements, and partnering with internal teams to build an innovative customer experience.The right candidate stays on top of industry and competitive trends and can execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive results. In addition, the Sr. Vendor Manager must be an effective leader and communicator in maintaining relationships with Amazon.com partners and vendors, as well as with internal supply chain, marketing, finance, and operations teams.The successful Sr. Vendor Manager is a strong problem-solver with proven capabilities in business judgement, analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail, and prioritization.This position can be located in either Seattle or Arlington, VA.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Arlington, VA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration- Experience using data to influence business decisions- Experience with business analysis and P&L management- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teamsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
