DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:JOB DESCRIPTIONThis individual will be responsible for providing technical support on a number of applications utilized by the Legal and Compliance team, including the following:
Provide support and maintenance of in-house built Onit applications, including but not limited to developing, testing, and maintaining all current and new Onit applications.Provide technical support and thought leadership to Legal and Compliance organization, including:Meet with system users to gather requirements for new Onit applications or new features to existing Onit and other applicationsCreate communications and user guides to help understand and adoption of new and existing applications and featuresConduct live and/or recorded training sessions for users as neededPropose, design, and implement enhancements to the current environment, including but not limited to:Design and develop reports using metrics collected in the systemAssist in the development and utilization of new code to automate repetitive tasksDesign and developCreate and maintain integrations between Onit and other Chubb information systemsSet up and maintain Onit extensions with other tools such as Microsoft Office Add-on.Collaborating with the Onit Manage Services team to evaluate and identify optimal solutionsConduct peer review analysis and acceptance for new or modified processes to ensure it is the best solution possible and compatible with larger program.Create and maintain documentation on day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the infrastructureRegularly reviewing existing apps and making recommendations for improvements with the goal of making customer experience as easy as possible.Additional related support and maintenance responsibilities determined as neededQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:* Minimum 5-6 years' experience with application development/application lifecycle management* Demonstrated ability to dive deep into code, define system behavior, establish technical roadmaps, partner with the business to understand requirements, and communicate with senior management.* Ability to program in one or more JavaScript, TypeScript, Liquid, C++, C#, or Python* Experience with Onit or other workflow platforms preferred* VBScript experience a plus* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to reduce ambiguity in requirements and communication* Strong analytics and problem-solving skills* High degree of collaboration skills* Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic fast-paced environment.* Knowledge of the Insurance Industry and/or Insurance Industry IT processes and system development a plus
