Sr. Systems Software Engineer

　　Description: A Sr. Systems Software Engineer job is available with a data systems integration company in Dayton, Ohio. The individual must resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects. Participates in development of software applications. Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Experience with application programming interfaces using in X12/EDI, WTX, ITX, Mercator, and Data Stage integration tool.

　　Experience in using Python and Django framework for programming and application development.

　　Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.

　　Knowledge of developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.

　　Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.

　　REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor of Science in a related field, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Programming, etc.

　　5-10 years" experience with strong technical knowledge of Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX or ITX), Mercator, Data Stage, Web Methods, or other ETL tools

　　Experience with Unix or Linux systems

　　Ability to deliver solutions that meet the identified acceptance criteria.

　　Excellent written and oral communication skills.

　　Security + Certification will be required, but as long as the candidate is willing and capable that"s not a requirement up front. US Citizen Capable of getting a Security Clearance

　　Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required.

　　Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop professional documentation and other written materials.

　　Considerable experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation

　　Preferred experience in environments with rigorous change/configuration management processes

　　Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.

　　DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IATM Level II and relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
