  Job Description:

  The primary function of the Sr. Specialist, Commercial & Wholesale Operations is generating and analyzing routine reports, executing ad-hoc projects, supporting line of business with internal and external audit compliance requests, and providing administrative assistance to the Commercial Banking team.

  Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  Compiles data from various sources as needed for ad-hoc reports/projects; creates and analyzes routine reports; provide strong support to the portfolio management team.

  Handles reporting on loans such as past dues, documentation, collateral exceptions, and department portfolio performances.

  Work effectively with compliance and risk management to complete internal and external audit requests.

  Researches and responds to incoming commercial loan requests received from business areas supported by the department.

  Researches payment history, loan balances, and associated documentation including loan notes, forbearance agreements, and modifications.

  Ensures proper documentation is filed appropriately and is available for internal and external audits.

  Processes and reviews incoming client requests involving change of management, financial statement inquiries, etc.

  Log information into manual or automated systems; tracks and monitors progress and/or disposition of requests, actions, files, documents, etc.

  Search records, both internal and external, such as credit reports, county property records, prospect data bases, client online records, and others, to location specific information; checks materials for accuracy, completeness and/or procedural compliance; compares data to identify similarities and differences; compiles such information in a variety of ways.

  Identifies and resolves problems within established guidelines.

  Qualifications:

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must have superior spreadsheet and data management skills.   Education:

  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business or equivalent degree. (Req)

  Work Experience:

  Working knowledge of Company documentation and banking operations - 3-5 years (Req)

  Skills and Abilities:

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and formula functions.

  Working knowledge in other Microsoft Office Suite applications, and good knowledge in various bank systems.

  Requires excellent organizational, management, communication, attention to details, and customer service skills.

  Demonstrate general understanding of collateral requirements and other loan terms with general exposure to loan documentation.

  Ability to adapt quickly, meet deadlines, and conduct timely follow-up.

  Good knowledge of overall lending policies and procedures, etc.

  Solid judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.

  Working Conditions:

  Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
