Job Description:
The Program Finance Senior Specialist will be responsible for program financial reporting, and supporting the division’s planning, budgeting and cost/ schedule performance measurement process on government and/or commercial programs. Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of the budget for large and/or complex programs. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Conducts detailed financial analysis. Interprets and implements most proposal estimating, pricing and documentation requirements. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitors program adherence to approved budget.
Essential Functions:
Work closely with the program manager and other functional areas to develop, maintain and analyze baselines, forecasts, and actuals including variance/trend analysis and corrective action.
Maintaining timely and accurate EACs for assigned programs.
Forecast and track program billings and cash receipts, with an understanding of contributors to unbilled and aging.
Prepare program related financial information for incorporation into monthly Program Management Review packages.
Performs consolidation and analysis for developing monthly forecasts and reporting of program related financial metrics for the business.
Provide financial guidance and support to facilitate the accurate set-up, performance and reporting of projects. This will include providing guidance and roll-up data for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly data-calls.
Support the monthly close process, to ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
Ad hoc reporting as required.
Ability to work in a face paced and deadline driven environment.
Attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills a must.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
2+ years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
2+ years of experience with Costpoint, SAP, or other ERP
2+ years of experience creating and maintaining Excel workbooks and functions such as: pivot tables, v-look ups, h-looks, etc.
US Citizen
Preferred Additional Skills:
Proficient in MS Office to include advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with SAP.
Familiarity with an Earned Value Tool, preferably Cobra.
Experience in proposal pricing and support.
Comfort with mastery of new tools and processes.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner.
Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels/functions within the organization.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $130,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
