Are you a software engineer looking to join a fun team in a supportive environment? If you are a seasoned developer that loves solving tough puzzles, our agile team has an opening in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO for an on-site developer with DevSecOps pipeline experience.
The ideal team member will be code agnostic with 2 years of experience in a variety of languages and frameworks to include (but not limited to) PHP, Java, Python, Javascript, ColdFusion, JSON, JSX, React, Babel, Django, SQL etc. Preference will be given to developers with Java experience working onsite with the existing customer. Submission of links to code samples are always welcomed.
Developers will be curious team players comfortable in pushing code through a pipeline with an eye for compliance and changing requirements. As an experienced agile professional, you will be comfortable with scrum, kanbans, daily standups and working as a contributing part of a very active team refactoring from a healthy backlog. Knowledge of AWS, Linux and even basic firewall rules will also be within reach of your tool chest.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
In addition to a minimum of three years of experience, a B.A. or B.S. in information systems or a related field is required. Four years of work experience as a software engineer or developer may be submitted in lieu of a degree.
Skills needed for this full stack job include the ability to write readable clean and secure code with minimal assistance, while working as a member of an agile team. Significant experience in at least two of these languages is required: Java, Python, Javascript, ColdFusion or SQL. The ability to write HTML5 and basic CSS with a background using library syntax like Bootstrap or Material Design is also required.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience in reading log files and refactoring code is highly encouraged. The biggest soft skill preferred is agile communication that embraces transparency and honesty. A history of responding to trouble tickets with finesse and a sense of urgency is helpful, as is balancing multiple priorities.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
