　　About the role

　　Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.

　　The Foundation Engineering team is responsible for the automation, workflows and tooling for containerization and Kubernetes deployment across the entire Netskope stack. We are expert programmers with broad and deep experience deploying K8s at scale, and we do full life-cycle development including requirements analysis, technical architecture and design, coding / implementation, testing, documentation and post-production ownership.

　　What you will be doing

　　Developing expertise in our cloud security solutions, and using that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole Contributing to building a flexible and scalable automation solution Working closely with the development and design team to help create an amazing user experience Helping to create and implement quality processes and requirements Working closely with the team to replicate customer environments Identifying and communicating risks about our releases. Looking beyond your specific area of responsibility and ensuring our solutions deliver value to our customers. Owning and making quality decisions for the solution. Owning the release process

　　Required skills and experience

　　4+ years of software development experience Excellent programming skills and hands-on experience with Python, C++ , Java Experience designing and developing cloud microservices that are deployed and used at scale Good understanding of distributed systems, data-structure and algorithms Experience with Golang a plus Energetic self-starter, with the desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Good to have

　　Knowledge of Jenkins, Hudson, or any other CI systems Experience testing distributed systems Strong knowledge of linux systems Experience and knowledge with HTTP protocol Experience building automation frameworks Experience with Databases, SQL and NoSQL (Mongodb or Cassandra) Knowledge of network security, authentication and authorization

　　Education

　　BS Computer Science required, MS Computer Science strongly preferred
