JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary The Sr. Quality Engineer will beactively involved in our QMS through APQP and PPAP projects, assistingin process improvements, KPI monitoring and auditing as Regal Rexnordadvances in its lean journey. Responsibilities Lead and championcontinuous improvement by engaging with manufacturing operationpersonnel, utilizing lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma and other continuousimprovement tools. Assist management representative to administer ISO9001:2015 quality system Develop and implement quality processesCollect, record, and analyze statistical data Lead on quality issues todetermine root cause Provide support to engineering initiatives Supportoperation to resolve inspection issues to allow product movement in atimely manner. Participate in Material Review Board meetings with crossfunction team Assist in ISO surveillance / recertification, and internalaudits. Experience and Skill Required Degree in Industrial, Mechanical,or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience inmachining practices and inspection techniques using manual toolsTraining and experience with management type and problem-solvingtechniques such as Statistical Quality Control/Statistical ProcessControl preferred Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio) Experience with statisticalanalysis software. Minitab experience a plus. Must possess projectmanagement abilities. Must have experience with ISO QMS, APQP, PFMEA,8D, and PPAP. Certified ISO 9001:2015 auditor (CQA) is preferred. SixSigma certification is preferred.
