  Description

  Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager for the Worldwide Public Sector Scalable Programs team in AWS Partner Marketing. Scalable programs play a critical role in expanding partner coverage exponentially and driving partner opportunity pipeline. The Program Manager will build programs at scale that support AWS Public Sector Partners globally.

  This role will be responsible for various elements of partner focused scalable programs which may include the APN Concierge Service, Agency Marketplace, Marketing Central, and the Partner Marketing Academy. Partners will leverage these scalable programs to accomplish key tasks such as engaging virtual Partner Marketing Managers for joint marketing planning, engaging AWS preferred marketing agencies to support demand generation planning and execution, accessing on-demand training, and leveraging campaigns, content, assets, and tools to drive demand generation activities.

  In this role, the successful Sr. Program Manager will drive the creation of global programs that target partners with multiple business models and GTM approaches. This involves identifying gaps, ideating solutions, building programs, and iterating to optimize program impact. The Sr. Program Manager will collaborate and drive alignment with key stakeholders across AWS Public Sector Partner Marketing, Public Sector Industry Marketing, and Public Sector Partner Sales to strategically design and execute global scalable programs with a variety of partners, including System Integrators (SIs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Distributors.

  You will be responsible for end-to-end execution of integrated demand generation campaigns, events, and programs focused on joint solutions offered by AWS and AWS Partners. The campaigns will span multiple channels, including: email, social media, paid media, virtual events (e.g., webinars), content marketing, video, nurture, and more.

  The ideal candidate has experience building and driving digital demand generation programs. They will have a relentless focus on the end customer and love building and executing programs and campaigns that are data-driven and add value for customers. It’s key to be detail-oriented and well organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

  Qualifications:

  7+ years of relevant work experience in demand generation, partner programs, and/or partner marketing at a top technology company.

  7+ years of demonstrable work experience managing marketing programs or initiatives that span geographies in support of a significant business objective.

  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant field of study.

  Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

  Ability to present ideas and gain support from internal and external stakeholders.

  Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift.

  Solid understanding of the cloud partner ecosystem.

  A strong team player comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

  Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  Key job responsibilities

  Drive integration of Public Sector into global scalable programs

  Build and execute demand generation, qualification, and lead nurturing programs for Public Sector Partner Marketing

  Track and report on performance metrics, using this data to continually optimize program and campaign performance

  Collaborate and drive alignment with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent communication and GTM execution across all aspects of scalable programs and demand generation

  Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Geo teams, to build an effective program management plan to drive awareness, adoption, and usage of partner marketing scalable programs offerings, demand generation assets, and content

  Drive increasing utilization of APN Marketing Central and increase the quality of assets, content, training, and tools available to APN partners

  Basic Qualifications

  Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  Experience communicating results to stakeholders

  Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
