About Sr Product Manager I, Data Solutions & Instrumentation (ESPN Fantasy)

Disney Entertainment’s mission is to delight consumers around the world with the entertainment and sports content they want most, with more choice, personalization, and convenience than ever before.

Comprised of Disney’s International media businesses and the Company’s streaming and linear services, Disney Entertainment and ESPN Technology (DE&E Technology) provides the technological backbone and product development for Disney’s two media business units, while helping to keep the company at vanguard of innovation – enabling the Company to continuously leverage technology to enhance storytelling and creativity, while delivering scalability, flexibility, and efficiency for its businesses.

The global organization of engineers, product developers, designers, technologists, data scientists and more has a wide array of responsibilities and works with groups and leaders across The Walt Disney Company to consistently evolve and reimagine the technological and media touchpoints that fans and families around the world have with Disney's unmatched content and characters.

The Data Solutions & Instrumentation (DSI) team within the Product Management organization is seeking a polished & experienced Sr Product Manager to oversee the implementation of a mature set of measurement solutions within the Sports portfolio of digital products. In this role you’ll partner with our Sports Product team and global set of analytics stakeholders to ensure the data we’re collecting reflects the evolving set of reporting needs and provides insight into our fan’s user-journey. This role will be predominantly focused on ensuring ESPNs portfolio of Fantasy products – inclusive of the ESPN Fantasy & ESPN Tournament Challenge mobile applications & the various ESPN Fantasy web experiences – have extensive and stable instrumentation coverage. While the DSI team takes a roadmap driven product-oriented approach to supporting our measurement solutions, roles within this team are extremely technical as you partner with our Consumer Software Engineering (CSE) teams to implement requirements and support our Quality Assurance teams through the validation process. The health, stability & evolution of the implementation of Adobe Analytics, Comscore, Nielsen and others is critical to the ESPN business and this role within the DSI team is vital to that success.

Gather measurement requirements from a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders (ESPN Research, Sports Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Ad Sales, Editorial & more), translate them into technical solution design artifacts & partner with our Consumer Software Engineering (CSE) team on the implementation across ESPNs portfolio of Fantasy products.

Perform the Administrator role within Adobe Analytics, inclusive of Report Suite architecture, Processing Rule maintenance, Dimension management, Marketing Channel oversight & all components of Analysis Workspace Project report development.

Develop and maintain a set of world-class documentation that serves the needs of our technical implementation partners, dependent downstream teams, and business stakeholders.

Triage and provide solutions for a consistent flow of questions, requests & challenges from the global stakeholder community.

Build strong relationships with our Account Managers and Solution Architects at Adobe, Comscore & Nielsen to ensure consistently smooth implementation certification processes and tight alignment on their evolving solutions & SDKs.

Drive schema and operational consistency across the DSI team beyond the core Sports Product vertical you’ll support, gaining exposure to Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ABC News, Marvel, National Geographic & more.
