　　Job Description

　　I. POSITION SUMMARY

　　To deliver safe, fit for purpose civil / structural drawings to an agreed schedule to meet a pre agreed budget.

　　II. NATURE AND SCOPE

　　The job holder is one of the key members of the design team having responsibility for the civil and structural analysis & design. Based on the execution strategy, the job holder will be responsible for leading civil, structural and architectural teams on projects.

　　III. DIMENSIONS:

　　Responsible for 100000 plus CSA job hours per annum.

　　Responsible to lead the analysis and design of large size projects or work as lead engineer.

　　Responsible for technical review of Vendor documents, technical offers, Interdisciplinary check (IDC) documents.

　　Lead CSA Engineer acts as the technical interface with AP project execution teams for entire CSA scope. The primary purpose is the delivery of a safe, fit for purpose plant design including analysis to an agreed schedule and budget.

　　Providing support to other AP engineering centers as workload requires.

　　IV. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

　　Safety and rigorous adherence to relevant specifications and standards for all CSA designs.

　　Accountable for the engineering scope adherence in accordance with project specifications & standards.

　　Implementation of quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

　　C&S scope definition, estimation & forecasting, planning, review / check / approval, document control and review activities necessary for project execution

　　Analysis & Design of equipment foundations like compressors, pumps, static & dynamic equipment, storage tanks, cooling tower basin & sump etc.

　　Other civil designs - Design of underground services, roads, civil pipe supports, water tanks, miscellaneous foundations.

　　Steel structure designs - technological structures, pipe racks, platforms, ladders etc.

　　Effectively communicate by email, .ppt or ‘face to face’ AP’s execution strategies, schedule issues and project requirements.

　　Support in Deliverable planning/Job Hours estimation/ Resource planning.

　　Implementation of quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement activities. C&S scope definition, estimation & forecasting, planning, review / check / approval, document control and review activities necessary for project execution

　　Building designs – MCC rooms, Control rooms, Compressor Sheds.

　　Design of modular steel structures including lifting, shipping and road analysis.

　　Experience in Issuing civil and steel packages for contractor selection and construction.

　　Champion the implementation of recent technology, product or work process.

　　Perform a Subject matter expert role in one or more technical domains.

　　Provide Technical leadership in the project in project definition, planning, execution phase.

　　Provide technical trainings and take part in knowledge sharing activities.

　　Perform change management and control project risk.

　　Drive CSA value engineering efforts and provide ideas for cost reduction.

　　Support in Global functional activities

　　Drive results and foster collaboration

　　V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

　　An Engineering Degree (or equivalent) and work experience of 20+ years.

　　Excellent written and spoken English and effective communication skills.

　　Proven track record of leading large teams on industrial projects.

　　Fully conversant with Indian and global codes applicable for Civil & Structural engineering. (e.g. American, Canadian, Eurocodes, etc.)

　　Expert in software such as Staad pro, MAT-3D, Foundation 3D and capable of manual design by using spread sheet program.

　　Expert in design of large foundations considering seismic and dynamic factors.

　　Expert in design of steel structures like pipe racks, technological structures, compressor sheds, platforms, etc.

　　Expert in Design of both pile and open foundation design.

　　Fully familiarized with an engineering organization, the function of each discipline and how they interact and the function of the various support groups globally.

　　Expert in working with Indian and global codes, preferably US & Euro codes.

　　Expert in software such as Staad pro, MAT-3D, Foundation 3D and capable of manual design by using spread sheet program.

　　Expert in design of large foundations considering seismic and dynamic factors.

　　Expert in designing equipment foundations like compressors, pumps, pressure vessels, cooling towers, storage tanks etc.

　　Expert in Analysis and design of Modular pipe racks and process structures including sea transportation, land transportation and lifting analysis. Work experience in Large or very large modules

　　Experience in Leading Large Size Projects independently with Team of Engineers and Designers.

　　Experience in design of UG related items like type of drainage systems, Design of sump pits, trenches, grade slabs, ponds, and other general civil items.

　　Experience in precast structures like precast pipe rack

　　Experience in Geotech related aspects like pile design, selection of right kind of pile, foundation settlement, work with Geotech consultant to get the required design parameters for the project.
