Maxar is seeking a Sr. Operations Financial Analyst to work within our FinanceOperations team. This role can be based in Palo Alto, CA or remotely in theU.S. This position will support executive leadership and control accountmanagers to ensure cost and schedule performance, including financialstability for indirect costs and capital projects. The Finance Operations teamworks closely with the CFO and senior executives to plan the business andallocate budget and resources to the company's satellite programs and otherstrategic R&D initiatives.
Responsibilities:Maintain strong business relationships with Operations and Management toensure accurate monthly/quarterly reportingSupport the monthly/quarterly financial cycles to ensure the accuracy ofdemand and alignment with available resourcesBuild knowledge of Maxar's business to become a key financial businesspartner to Maxar organizationsContinuously assess financial and schedule risks and opportunities forreconciliation of functional labor and non-labor incurred costs and EACforecastsProvide financial modeling and financial analysis to ensure data integrityacross reporting systemsSupport Maxar's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes and overall budgetcomplianceLead monthly reviews of operating expenses, capital expenditures andheadcount for departments as needed
Minimum Requirements:Must be a U.S citizen or permanent residentBachelor's degree or four additional years of experience may substitute fora degreeMinimum of 5 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:MBA or Master's degree in FinanceExperience with SAP S4, SAC, Tableau and/or data visualization systemsAdvanced analytical skills, combined with excellent business judgment andstrong ability to clearly and concisely communicate with management levelpersonnelStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in team environment to support businessobjectivesAdvanced experience with Excel and other MS office applicationsOrganized, detail-oriented individual with ability to multi-task andmaintain accuracy of informationIntegrity with confidential information#LI-TB1
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility.Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set ofknowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potentialcommensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$82,000.00- $136,000.00 annually.
Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based oncontribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved;the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on therole and breadth of contributions.
