　　Position Summary

　　- Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives

　　- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results

　　- Prepares detailed technical specifications from which programs will be written.

　　- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs

　　- Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities

　　- Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmer/analysts

　　- Provides recommendations and influences strategic decision making

　　- Provides measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of a business or divisions strategy

　　- Establishes operational plans and work to achieve objectives with longer-term effect

　　Required Qualifications

　　- 10+ years of experience in application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

　　- 6+ years of experience in systems analysis and application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　- Expertise in one or more programming language, development tools, and/or databases and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization

　　- Understand the business and functional requirements that apply to the applications supporting a sub-domain or domain as well as their relevant interfaces

　　Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field

　　Pay Range

　　The typical pay range for this role is:

　　$115,000.00 - $230,000.00

　　This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
