The Global Material Requirements Planning team leads the replenishment of critical supply for the manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products for our patients. The team also masters inventory management and strive to minimize Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) stocks to best inclass performance.

Position Title: Sr Materials Requirements (MRP) Planner
Reports To: Sr Manager Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) LM API
Position Overview
The Sr. Materials Requirements (MRP) Planner/Buyer is responsible for co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the planning and procurement of raw materials and components, converting the output of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the Detailed Schedule (DS) into material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed!
Communicate with different suppliers to align the plan and keep all stakeholders updated. Be an integral part of a team which optimizes the flow of materials while considering the site' warehouse capacity and inventory targets to eliminate potential disruptions, minimize storage costs and avoid material scrap.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the development, maintenance, communication and publication of the plan to ensure patients / needs are met.
Maintain Raw Materials and Components inventories within our goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials. Contribute to the global balancing of stocks ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.
Partner with Global Procurement and Suppliers to drive performance improvements including quality and timely deliveries.
Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure timely return of goods or disposal.
Focus and encourage continuous improvement of the processes supported!
Support the successful introduction of new products or technical transfers and manage material and components Phase in and Phase Out processes.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or other related Business field is essential.
Supply Chain Certification is preferred e.g. APICS.
Lean Certification is desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years relevant Supply Chain Management experience (Planning, Logistics or Manufacturing) is required.
Experience in Planning/Purchasing in a multi-national environment preferred.
Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Biopharmaceutical industry preferable.
Experience in the use of SAP is preferred.
