About Sr. Marketing Manager, Amazon Kids+

  The Marketing Manager for Amazon Kids Japan will be responsible for driving a best-in-class customer experience for potential Amazon Kids+ customers, helping surface the right content in the right locations to drive interest in Amazon Kids+. They will be responsible for creating compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, both internal and external, with a focus on digital advertising that drives both product awareness/familiarity and user acquisitions.

  To be successful, this role requires exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) in Japanese and English, on top of strong project management and marketing skills. The ability to interpret datasets, define performance metrics, diagnose areas of under-performance, and identify growth opportunities is a must. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple projects at once and working with multiple teams, vendors, partners, and management for Japan. You will hold a high bar for execution and measurement, and will define success metrics and refine processes to automate and scale.

  Key job responsibilities

  Plan, coordinate, and execute awareness and acquisition campaigns to grow the subscriber base for Amazon Kids+ through both in-house and third party channels.

  Work with agencies to develop compelling creatives and messaging to maximize campaign effectiveness.

  Develop and analyze performance metrics and translate these into written narratives to drive business decisions.

  Understand customer purchase drivers and behavior.

  Track marketing best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations.

  Develop best practices in marketing campaigns that will scale internationally.

  Tokyo, 13, JPN

  Basic Qualifications

  6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

  Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

  Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
