  What You Will Achieve

  In your role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management and Global Supply Chain leaders of product portfolios, supply chain planning, and strategy. You will partner with Site Leadership Team members, Launch Excellence at/above site, and PGS strategy on site master planning to define improvement projects aligned with business strategy. You'll review the status ofprojects and budgets,prepare status reports, and support your project managers in escalating issues for decision.You will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers and stakeholders.

  As a Senior Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects and programs led by your team. You will deploy resources and lead pay, performance, goal setting, and development discussions for those who report to you. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your team. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the site and sets direction for its success.

  How You Will Achieve It

  Set objectives and priorities for multiple projects and ongoing work activities of direct reports.

  Manages the coordination of multiple projects, budgets and related interdependencies of moderate complexity with multiple functions across site.

  Support resource forecasts and confirms appropriate team resources assigned for project/program support.

  Leads and facilitate the identification of operation and project/program issues and risks and drives resolution through a matrix environment, effectively documenting decisions/rationale.

  Provide assessment of milestones, investment triggers and go/no go decisionpoints,to prepare for governance presentations to support portfolio-level and master planning decision making and prioritization.

  Facilitate team to appropriate discussions leading to effective decision-making, alternative development options, including pros, cons and risks.

  Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and Global Supply Chain leaders of product portfolios, supply chain planning, and strategy.

  Manage organizational complexity by understanding company, division, and site priorities, adapting to ever-changing internal/ external environmental factors.

  Work with and lead multi-national and multi-vendor teams, including colleague resources to identify, prioritize, justify and deliver process improvements projects across the full lifecycle of solution delivery and support and other key areas.

  Provide strategic direction and develops innovative, advanced new concepts that improve the work processes / products across own and related disciplines.

  Build and maintain a diverse and inclusive team culture and support Pfizer's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion objectives within the business unit.

  Qualifications

  Must-Have

  Bachelor's Degreeand10+ years of demonstrated experience.

  Prior managerial and team leadership experience.

  Strong experience training and development of staff.

  Good People Management experience.

  Must effectively lead and communicate with their teams as well as stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.

  Must handle the organization and delegation of tasks. They must also ensure that all project materials and deliverables are completed on time.

  Advanced experience working with budgets.

  Must understand how to resolve issues and adapt their projects creatively to avoid mishaps and losses.

  Must ensure their stakeholders and team members stay motivated throughout a project's lifecycle. Moreover, they must be able to manage their team to ensure top-quality results and on-time completion of project deliverables.

  Demonstrated teamwork, problem solving, decision making, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  Strong experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, delivering Presentations.

  Prior experience interacting with, presenting to and partnering with senior executives and external customers.

  Nice-to-Have

  Master's degreeand relevant pharmaceutical experience.

  2-5 years leadership of a project/program management team.

  Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization.

  Knowledge of project management concepts. Professional PM Certification (Project Management Professional [PMP] or equivalent) preferred.

  Demonstrated ability to actively participate in the resolution of technical challenges, as well as demonstrated analytical and business skills (financial acumen).

  Demonstrated skills in team facilitation and effective communications, both oral and written.

  Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.

  Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  The annual base salary for this position ranges from $131,200.00 to $218,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
