We are seeking talented Information Technology professionals to join the Waste Management team who are motivated to help us transform the way we design, build and use technology.   I. Job Summary

  The Sr. Manager of Network and Mobility Provisioning will provide support to over 50,000 employees, 1500 sites across North America while ensuring the availability of over 165 business critical applications at WM.

  This role will manage the day-to-day operations of the data and telecom circuit provisioning team. Including developing policies, procedures, and standards for the installment and maintenance of circuits. Has full authority for personnel actions. The provisioning Sr. Manager will provide the expertise in data and telecom circuit requirements gathering activities, carrier sourcing, carrier proposal comparative analysis, and support timely circuit delivery for effective Provisioning Lifecycle Management.

  The position will also prepare a cost proposal analysis optimizing costs, terms, capacity, maintaining circuit documentation, review monthly invoices and budget expense tracking, as well as working with carriers and subcontractors in the development of solutions to provide voice and/or data circuits and transport methods over fiber networks. The project management and account management skills through the lifecycle processes of both new circuit installations and decommissioning are required for this role.

  This role requires close collaboration with various internal and external technology and business teams. A customer-obsessed attitude with excellent communication skills are a must.

  II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other Minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department.

  Oversee Circuit provisioning related functions, including onboarding and decommissioning of circuits across the enterprise.

  Responsible for circuit utilization analysis, capacity growth planning and expense management

  Responsible for extensive reporting; daily, weekly, monthly to keep all groups informed on all circuit information.

  Identify and manage IT-related risks and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate those risks.

  Oversee the team to ensure carriers provide competitive bidding that meet the requested service requirements.

  Lead efforts to ensure team manage request and review carrier service order forms, circulate orders for signature and, manage carriers to their commitment dates and delivery dates through the term of the service.

  Work closely with key area and digital stakeholders to ensure visibility to telecom expenses and circuit management.

  Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of the enterprise IT Operations.

  Stay current with industry trends and advancements and assess their potential impact on our business.

  Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that IT systems meet the needs of the organization.

  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  Establish project plans, timelines, and deliverables

  III. Supervisory Responsibilities

  The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is management through one or more managerial levels. This includes:

  Direct supervision of full-time employees including management, team leads and individual contributor positions;

  May have indirect supervision of other full-time management and/or individual contributor positions.

  Responsible for leading a a team of highly skilled IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.

  IV. Qualifications

  The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

  A. Education and Experience

  Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.

  Experience: Eight years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

  B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  Preferred: ITIL v3

  C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  Must possess strong interpersonal skills and is a relationship builder; Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organization; Must be a business leader and a calculated risk taker; Results oriented and self-motivated.; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Work independently without significant supervision; Ability and comfort to present ideas to a variety of audiences as required.

  The expected salary range for this position is $133,455 - $203,343. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
