Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join the Licensing Compliance team in the US. This Engineering Manager will be managing high-performing engineering scrum teams that builds and supports Compliance platform services and components that powers non-compliance detection and identification for Desktop and cloud Autodesk products. The platforms has a direct impact to top-line revenue of the company.

Responsibilities

Attract, hire, manage, motivate and career development of talented, highly productive engineering teams

Own your team’s technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with product managers and business stakeholders

Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture and help drive decisions

Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen

Relentlessly push for good Engineering Practices and innovation

Closely collaborate with other teams, architects and product owners to accomplish cross-organizational project goals

Minimum Qualifications

3 years of experience and interest in managing highly performing and talented team of engineers

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field

Strong experience building and managing Cloud platforms, preferably AWS

Strong experience with client-server technologies and stacks such as Java, Python, C++, Jenkins, GitHub

Proven experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

Strong experience working with remote teams on collaborating towards a common goal

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $145,800 and $235,950. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
