  Job Description

  The Sr. Manager, Marketing is a leadership role with responsibility for redefining marketing across Protein Diagnostics in North America, driving a culture of marketing innovation, and advancing overall business performance. Works cross functionally, building relationships across the North America commercial organization to help launch other new and innovative products. The individual will engage upstream marketing through the global organization and represent the North American business to ensure alignment and collaboration strategy. Responsible for enhancing laboratory data to transform the value proposition of the business to better address healthcare problems, thereby supporting physician decision making, and ultimately assisting physicians in driving better outcomes for patients. The position reports directly to the Country Manager, North America and sits on Leadership Team. The organization includes approximately 10 employees with plans to add an additional Product and Marketing Manager positions in FY24.

  We seek an expert business professional capable of bridging customer needs and broader market trends, translating into solution requirements and high-impact strategies and initiatives. The successful candidate will have a consistent track record as a strong leader able to encourage, and mentor a diverse team, drive strategic marketing planning and product demand, and enable best-in-class customer experience.

  A Day in the Life

  Lead downstream regional product and marketing communication teams.

  Design, implement of and report against Go-To-Market strategies across the entire portfolio for North America

  Drive demand generation strategy, execution and performance tracking

  Lead new product definition and business planning in conjunction with the Global Marketing Team launch plans.

  Lead development of business plans, and of product positioning within the marketplace.

  Lead product and campaign performance reporting in the region.

  Lead creative development of content for marketing collateral, including sales tools, white papers, presentations, case studies, blogs, eBooks, videos, selection guides, and customer success stories.

  Consistently communicates vision, strategy, and initiative roadmaps to executives, customers, and internal partners

  Initiates market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs

  Coordinate and synchronize marketing-related activities with other organizational functions, including Divisional Marketing, Product Training, and Commercial Teams.

  Responsible for working with Divisional Marketing to develop public relations and brand messaging within North America.

  Work on special projects in connection with the Business Unit goals and strategy (as needed)

  Keys to Success

  Education

  A Bachelor’s degree with a major/minor in business or science required. An advanced degree highly desirable.Experience

  5+ years of management experience within product marketing, product management, market development, or related functions with a demonstrated track record of success.

  Experience leading a team within a multinational/multicultural environment, including remote staff.

  Solid understanding of the Medical Diagnostics industry including end markets, technology platforms, regulated environments and customer segments.

  Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.

  Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.

  Hands on experience with Google Analytics, SFDC Marketing Cloud (or similar), sales enablement software (ShowPad or similar).

  Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills and preferred experience working cross-functionally across many areas and levels of an organization.

  Strong Commercial & Business Acumen with the added the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through sophisticated problems.

  Ability to take projects from strategy to execution with great attention to detail and innovative thinking.

  Robust track record in achieving outstanding marketing and sales performance in revenue, growth, margins, and customer allegiance/satisfaction.

  Ability to effectively communicate go-to-market strategy, metrics, successes, failures, standard processes, etc., to improve the overall marketing efficiency.

  Ability to travel up to 60% - domestic & international.

  Compensation and Benefits

  The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.

  This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
