Job Description:
The Integrated Mission Systems segment is seeking a Finance professional, who will lead financial operation efforts for the segment. With current revenues of approximately $7 billion, the IMS segment is a growing and highly dynamic business consisting of diverse business models, robust pipeline, U.S. government and international offerings and complex entity structures across both domestic and international operations. This position will partner with segment functional leadership and management teams, providing financial leadership and achieving business strategic and annual operating plans.
Essential Functions:
Finance business partner to segment functional leadership and teams, supporting program management, engineering, and operations (manufacturing, supply chain, e3)
Support program execution cross segment through enhancing program finance control processes, tools and training; including Cobra deployment and adoption.
Ensure estimating business system compliance across IMS CAS covered business units.
Manage the segment capital expenditures; achieve annual plans and support investment decisions.
Support the achievement of segment annual productivity goals and e3 savings, coordinate annual perimeter cost activities with business units.
Work with business leaders to analyze and improve processes to achieve maximum effectiveness, efficiency and productivity through the identification, development, and implementation of initiatives.
Champion Lean training for the segment finance organization.
Lead and guide team of financial analysts.
Operational and strategic thinker capable of leading strategic initiatives for the segment, plan and execute with appropriate urgency.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various levels of the organization; able to guide and build business partnerships with functional leaders.
Must have strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; be self-directed, proactive and action oriented.
Ability to travel as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
7+ years of indirect or direct leadership experience
Experience with government and commercial operating models within Aerospace & Defense business operations
Program execution: Earned Value Management, full program lifecycle, Estimate at Complete
Pursuit and proposals: Estimating business system; business acquisition process, and cost estimating processes.
Manufacturing/production: processes, workflows, operational metrics, data analytics
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Prior experience with MS Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Cobra, ProPricer, SAP, Hyperion
Prior experience in complying with FAR / DFAR requirements, contractor business systems criteria, customer EVM CDRLs, and Request for Proposals requirements.
