Position Summary
Position Summary
As the Content Development Sr. Manager, you will be part of the Customer Success team, and you will be responsible for translating 1st party data into actionable analyses, processes, and use cases for the various users of our product. You will also create training programs, curricula, resources, and other learning experiences to help users get maximum value from our product. You will collaborate with internal partners to develop a holistic body of learning content and resources that maximizes value through every phase of change and adoption.

Essential Duties
The CML Content Development Sr. Manager key areas of responsibility will include:
•
Lead, manage and create a strong culture among the members of the change management team with a focus in technical and narrative writing and content development.
•
Conduct learning needs analysis and consult with stakeholders to define learning objectives, outcomes, and requirements as related to a given change.
•
Design and develop engaging and effective content using various modalities and technologies, such as e-learning, instructor-led training, webinars, podcasts, videos, simulations, games, etc.
•
Ensure learning content and programs are aligned with the company’s brand, values, and standards, and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
•
Evaluate and measure the impact and effectiveness of content and programs using various methods and metrics, such as feedback, surveys, assessments, tests, analytics, etc.
•
Provide feedback and coaching to the content development team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
•
Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in learning and content development, and recommend new and innovative solutions.
•
Collaborate actively with content providers to create a seamless learning experience for all audiences.
•
Research and apply trends and advancements in the learning and development space to content development and learning experiences for maximum adoption of changes.
•
Contribute to culture and teamwork by demonstrating ownership, accountability, and openness to feedback.

You should also have excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, and a passion for learning and innovation. You will also manage a team of content development and change specialists, and you will evaluate their impact and develop their individual skills. This is a manager level role, with employee development and coaching responsibilities.
Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s master’s degree in education, instructional design, learning and development, or related field.
•
Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and content development, preferably in a senior or managerial role.
•
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning content and programs using various modalities and technologies.
•
Experience working with or supporting Change Management teams or change projects.
•
Experience in managing learning and content development projects.
•
Experience in using learning management systems, platforms, and tools.
•
Experience in evaluating and measuring the impact and effectiveness of learning content and programs.
•
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning theories.
•
Excellent communication skills.
•
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, team building and interpersonal skills.
•
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•
Outstanding creativity, innovation, and design skills.
•

•
Talent managing multiple concurrent programs; ensuring stakeholders are informed and aware of programs status, successes, and opportunities to improve. Preferred Requirements:
• MBA or other graduate business degree is preferred.
• A team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical objectives associated with change.
• Expert in change management processes and audience engagement techniques.
• Superior management and coaching skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
• Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to interface with diverse set of stakeholders including industry & capability and executive leaders.
• Self-reliant, good problem solver results oriented and proactive.
• Experience with Camtasia, Vyond, WellSaid, Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Premiere), Workday Learning, and other animation, video, or content development tools.
• Certification in Instructional Design
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Proficiency in ADO (Azure DevOps) for tracking work.
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with and through others.
• Project Management Certification, Project management experience, Six Sigma certification.
