Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a remote Java Developer for an Enterprise Media client of ours. The team you would be joining is responsible for the build and support of the company's media asset management systems supporting internal employees from the marketing team that directly impacts external customers. In this role, you would be joining a team of 5 developers, 1 automated QA, 1 scrum, and 1 product owner. You will also work closely with the CloudOps, CI/CD, and DVOps teams to build connectable services supporting broadcast and streaming channels. For this role, we are seeking someone who is strong in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases. Although AWS familiarity is required, there is a separate DevOps team responsible for the true deployment and integration. The team is working in an Agile environment in a 2-week sprint rotation. Skills and Requirements
5+ years of Java development experience, preferably Java 11- Experience working in Spring Boot framework
Strong understanding of AWS tools of MySQL, API Gateway, Kinesis Stream, Elastic Search and serverless technologies
Experience deploying from AWS to EKS clusters
Experience with DynamoDB databases
Experience building applications that are high trafficked
Experience developing RESTful API development and microservice architecture null
