PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900-$123,200 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400-$145,800 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE :
As a Sr. IT Auditor at BECU, you’ll play a critical role in planning and performing independent, risk-based assurance and consulting activities related to IT internal processes, controls, risk management, and governance at BECU. Your creativity and forward-thinking approach will add value and improve BECU's operations. By maintaining effective relationships with your primary customers and aligning IT with designated control frameworks, you will instill efficiency into IT processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Perform Risk-Based Assurance (Audits) and Consulting Engagements : Plan and perform audits and consulting engagements that add value and improve BECU’s operations, primarily consisting of performing risk assessments and internal control evaluations.
Oversee Remediation Efforts : Oversee remediation efforts to ensure management actions effectively address issues.
Establish and Maintain Partnerships : Establish and maintain partnerships with internal customers based on credibility and trust, as well as understanding business objectives and processes.
Maintain Independence : Maintain an independent outlook while conducting all assurance activities.
Confidentiality and Data Utilization : Maintain confidentiality and disseminate sensitive information only when appropriate. Utilize data mining tools to perform audit tests where relevant.
Regulatory Compliance and Recommendations : Maintain an understanding of all key regulatory and legal requirements relevant to internal customers’ processes. Make recommendations to improve the overall control environment
Communication and Coordination : Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing Credit Union goals. Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
M inimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or other relevant discipline. Equivalent work and education-related experience will also be considered.
Minimum of four years of IT audit experience or equivalent industry experience within IT with a focus on compliance.
Designation as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or continuing education towards designation.
D esired Qualifications :
Continuing professional education program to ensure IT audit skills are up-to-date and optimized.
In-depth understanding of information security and privacy requirements from a compliance and regulatory perspective.
Familiarity with risk-based assurance and consulting activities including virtualized environments, cloud-based hosted services, and hybrid solutions based on NIST Cybersecurity framework, ISO:IEC 27001:2013, as well as the COSO Internal Control – Integrated Framework.
Ability to design and perform audits in a multi-platform computing environment.
