United by our ICARE shared principles, our employees work every day to innovate and deliver opportunities that improve patient care in every setting - one product, one partner, one patient at a time.PurposeThe Sr. Instructional Designer will use multimedia technology and authoring tools to design and develop interactive and engaging learning experiences for our internal learners.Duties and Job ResponsibilitiesWork with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needsDevelop measurable objectives and ensure content aligns with those objectivesRevise and rewrite content to shape it for learning needsCreate engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transferCreate material/media using a variety of instructional strategies to support learning (audio, video, simulations, role plays, scenario-based, micro learnings, games etc.)Determine the criteria used to evaluate learner's performance and develop assessment instrumentsAdapt instructional materials created for one format (e.g., instructor led) to other formats such as e-learningApply tested instructional design theories, practice and methodsMinimum Requirements:Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experienceCritical SkillsBachelor's degree with a concentration on adult education or instructional design preferred.
