　　Position: Senior Construction Inspector (Roadways)

　　Location: Lenexa, KS

　　Senior Construction Inspector - Lenexa, Kansas

　　GBA is seeking a construction inspector to support our TransportationGroup. The ideal candidate will have experience with inspection ofroadway and bridge projects, field materials testing and the desire tolead projects. We are willing to educate and train individuals with thedesire to grow in the inspection field.

　　Responsibilities

　　Read and interpret plans and specificationsPerform field materials testing on soil, aggregates, concrete andasphaltObserve and inspect construction to achieve compliance with contractdocumentsAbility to gain ability to lead projectsPerform project documentation, keeping timely and accurate reportingPrepare pay applications, change orders and general administrativedutiesPerform environmental inspectionsOther essential dutiesRequirements

　　At least 5+ years or more of inspection related experienceKDOT or MoDOT Certified Inspector Training Certifications preferred,but will provide if neededWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelBroad knowledge of construction materials and methods preferredExperience with earthwork, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement,bridge structures, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and other utilitiesis desirableSelf-motivated, optimistic attitudeExcellent organizational and computer documentation skillsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift and carry field equipment and samples for testing,50lb lift test requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a physical anddrug screeningIts More Than Just A Job
