MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborates with HR Team on key program and initiatives.
• Supports HRBPs on core agenda and performance management programs.
• Works closely with the HRBPs as needed on strategic HR initiatives
• Customizes and delivers specific HR initiatives to ceneter management including coaching managers on performance management and employee development.
• Conducts investigations, as needed.
• Recommends disciplinary action based on investigation findings.
• Ensures approved policies and procedures are in place.
• Trains management on interviewing skills, lawful hiring, effective terminations, internal promotions, conducting performance reviews, safety awareness and prevention of discrimination, harassament and sexual harassment.
• Advises / counsels supervisors and management regarding potential employee problems / issues.
• Provides coaching and counseling in the areas of performance, retention, compliance, leadership and employee development.
• Works closely with center management to align Human Resources initiatives and programs with business strategy and operating plan objectives.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
• Receives employee complaints / grievances, taking steps necessary to bring matters to successful resolution.
• Consults with supervisor, human resources staff, legal counsel and employees as needed.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
• Prepares for and conducts employee separation meeting(s) including termination notices.
• Creates and prepares monthly reports, charts and graphs on identified KPIs.

• Meets with supervisor/manager on a regular basis to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and/or improving services.

REQUIREMENTS
Education, Qualifications Experience
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree strongly preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous work in an HR role with significant increase in responsibilities in Employee Relations, Human Resources or a closely related field required.
• Previous experience with multi-site and multi-state experience required.
• aPHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Advanced experience in MS Office® including MS Excel® charts and graphs required.
• Knowledge of plasma operations helpful.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Physical Requirements
Work is primarily light in nature, with exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Reaching, handling, fingering, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, and walking. Involves sitting, standing, and walking most of the time.
Travel
As required to center sites, up to 50% to KEDPLASMA / Kedrion locations, regional meetings and company sponsored functions including overnight travel.
Working Conditions
• Primarily inside with well-lighted and well-ventilated areas.
• Potential exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens.
