A Place to Be Proud.Responsibilities* Prepares monthly reports using key performance indicators to measure the efficiency of hospital operations.* Provides reporting and analytical support to measure physician productivity, charge lag, revenue recognition, and clinical efficiency.* Analyzes and updates on a monthly basis, allowance accounts, third party settlement liabilities, days in accounts receivable.* Analyze and compile quality data required to participate in provider incentive programs.* Analyze third party payer contracts and reconciles differences in payments received versus payments expected.* Identify revenue integrity opportunities relating to charge capture, compliance, and coding.* Reviews patient charges using documentation in Epic of services performed.* Ensures services as established are representative of CPTs and/or Revenue Codes.* Identifies trends in charging questions and provides input about charging practices and charge master structure.* Collaborates with internal departments to maintain a current and comprehensive charge master for services performed by creating ongoing and annual updates. Participates on teams with Information Systems and Revenue Cycle on charge process projects* Responds to requests from various internal departments such as Legal, Internal Audit, and Payor Relations. Completes special projects and offers expertise when needed.Assist with the development of financial structures, which includes file building, data validation, process development and financial reporting.Note: Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance is an essential job function.
