Title: Tax Manager (Private Equity)

Location: Menlo Park (Hybrid)

Salary: $160,000 - $185,000 base (stretch DOE) + Bonus

About the Company: Leading private equity firm based in Menlo Park, CA, primarily focused on high-growth technology and related companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate, timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns, FATCA/CRS and other business-related filings.

Manage and review investor US withholding tax certificates and coordinate documentations to banks.

Manage preparation and calculation of quarterly estimated tax payments.

Assist in preparing tax-related communications and managing federal, state, and local notices and inquiries.

Engage with deal teams and external advisors regarding structuring portfolio investments globally and to implement appropriate holding company or blocker structures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

B.S. degree in accounting or similar; CPA preferred.

A minimum of 6 years of tax experience, with a preference for Big 4 accounting firm experience.

Extensive knowledge in investment management, Subchapter K partnership and international tax compliance.

Experience with international investment tax preferred.

Self-motivated, with the ability to sort through complex issues and communicate them in a clear, concise manner.
