Dallas manufacturing client has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX (zip code 75247). This is a contract-to-hire position.

As a Senior Financial Analyst at family-owned food manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in driving financial decision-making and supporting the growth and profitability of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, and providing strategic insights to the management team.

Essential Job Duties
Support, prepare and present financial information to leadership.
Provide month-end sales, cost, and gross margin analysis; research, explain and resolve variances between actual results, budget, forecast.
Ability to analyze profitability of current and new business by product, channel and/or customer. Ability to quantify, recommend and justify changes to pricing.
Proactively identify cost saving opportunities within the manufacturing and distribution cycle
Develop and maintain pricing models for new sales opportunities.
Prepare dashboards of key performance indicators using Power BI or similar tools.
Decision‐support analysis on changes to operational or production processes. Financial decision‐support partner to executive leadership (CEO, COO, CFO and Chief Sales Officer).
Examine and review unusual cost records, cost standards, and ensure cost data is assigned correctly.
Monitor system controls interfaces and sets proper guidelines for Account Mate, a Data Cor accounting software system.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minium 5 years in Manufacturing Cost Accounting Experience (ideally in food manufacturing)
Minimum 5 – 7+ years in financial planning and analysis.
Must have experience in developing / maintaining dashboards of KPI’s (ideally using Power BI)
Collaborative team-oriented attitude.
Experience with Account Mate and Manufacturing Conductor software is a plus.
