Description We are seeking a certified Data Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include developing analysis and reporting capabilities and conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Key responsibilities
Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Communicate findings of data analysis to managers, written and verbally
Assemble business reports that provide insight into key data points
Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use
Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy
Analyze data reports regularly, identifying and resolving any mistakes
Help various departments, including marketing and sales, reach their goals through analysis
Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports Requirements - Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
Experience creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools
General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
Experience with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
