Job Summary:
Trane Technologies in Greenville, SC is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst for its Supply Chain Finance team. Supply Chain Finance provides financial support to the worldwide enterprise across a range of disciplines, including Manufacturing and Distribution organization. The Supply Chain Finance group is responsible for long-term and short-term financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis, and supporting the ThermoKing Operations team in decision-making.
A senior financial analyst in this group reports to the Production Controller and will manage several high profile financial responsibilities. This position plays a key roll in providing analytical and business decision support to drive financial forecasts, operating budgets, and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and report financial performance, analyze and interpret operating results, investigate variances and unusual items, and evaluate their effect on operations. Report results along with recommendations for action.
Partner with operations to drive cost and operating efficiencies.
Support business with business case analysis for capital investment opportunities.
Develop tools for early identification of financial problems and make recommendations for resolution of problems.
Manage cost center budgets for operating departments.
Coordinate with materials leader on financial aspects of annual physical inventory process
Support requests from internal and external audit teams as necessary
Build and maintain tools for early identification of financial problems
Collaborate with Commercial Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting or related field, and strong Financial Analysis skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and implement processes
Strong business partnership skills
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge in Oracle and One Stream a plus
