As the FEDSIM Senior Solution and Staffing SME you’ll work with subject matter experts on top priority FEDSIM bids creating compliant and compelling responses to FEDSIM TORs. Responsibilities:
The FEDSIM Senior Solution and Staffing SME works closely with other FEDSIM Solution Architects, Technical and Management SMEs, and Graphic Artists to develop and translate solution concepts into compelling visual presentations.
Mature and develop solutions into draft and final input to technical and management approach topics in the FEDSIM presentation slide deck.
Coordinates closely with staffing, transition, management, and technical SMEs working on written and slide deck deliverables to ensure solution integration across all proposal parts in response to FEDSIM TOR requirements.
Major support areas include creating compelling slides to explain approaches and methodologies required to execute technical and management tasks in a FEDSIM TOR
Additional activities include identifying and working with Subject Matter Experts to develop solutions into detailed technical and management approaches and working with Designers to graphically depict complex technical and management concepts.
Develops and implements process improvements to help improve proposal quality
Required Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and 15+ years of Federal Government support experience.
Previous experience working on winning FEDSIM proposals, to include all elements of the technical and management slides and supporting written volume (staffing plan, rationale, KPQMs, transition, and past performance) and oral slides and script development.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and direct technical SMEs and writers assigned to proposal efforts to ensure consistent messaging of win themes, differentiators, key strengths, and slide format, to include graphics, tables, and call out boxes.
Experience working as part of a collaborative team to clearly articulate solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, experience, win themes, and discriminators.
Ability to graphically visualize complex yet integrated technical and management approaches and methodologies.
Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple simultaneous assignments and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and work as part of a team.
Ability to apply interpersonal communication and interviewing skills and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization to produce quality deliverables.
Successful candidates will possess the following characteristics: analytical, visual, reasoning, and problem-solving skills; the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision or feedback; and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with supported staff, managers, and peers.
Excellent writing, organizational, and leadership skills
Strong work ethic and desire to excel and keep growing over time.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS PowerPoint and other MS Office products (e.g., outlook, word, and project)
Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications:
Five or more years supporting the development of FEDSIM proposals.
Ten or more years of IC/DoD Government operational support experience
15 years supporting the development of proposals and proposal responses to the IC/DoD community.
Master’s Degree
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $123,100-$205,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
