Job Description: Design, develop, test, and evaluate integratedsystems for managing industrial production processes, including human workfactors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and materialflow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Responsible for servoproduct development, code debugging, and hardware failure analysis.Identify and correct problems within the servo subsystem and drives usinglogic analyzers, scopes, trace tools, servo data collection, debugtools, and data analysis techniques. Write Matlab scripts or Python scriptsto capture data of interest and decipher code trace in C language to resolveproblems. Validate hardware functionality with code. Use basic control systemsand motor theory, including PID, state space, controllers, notchfilters, estimators, bode plots, and electrical mechanical interaction.

　　Job Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in ComputerScience, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a related field.

　　Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge orcoursework in each of the following skills:

　　C, C++, and Python programming;MATLAB in sampled data and digital control systems;Algorithms for Machine Learning and System ID;Control systems, Signal Processing, and Electromechanical sub-systems;Real Time Embedded System;Technical documentation; andSeek system design.Employment and background checks may be required.

　　Salary range for this position in Longmont, CO is: $91,250 -$131,994.70. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market ofthe role in the geography in which the position is located based on therequirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a goodfaith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust thisrange depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
