Chiquita Canyon Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Laborer to join our team in Castaic, CA! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.

　　The days of the week are subject to business needs and seniority, but this position will be working weekdays starting at 7AM and alternating Saturdays. Overtime hours are often required.

　　Starting pay is $19.12/hour. The pay range for this job category is $19.12 - $21.63/hour.

　　Responsibilities Include:

　　Spotting/directing trucks

　　Picking litter

　　Coordinating dump areas for specific waste materials

　　Traffic management - moving signs and cones

　　Ensuring that all customers are wearing proper PPE

　　Cleaning Equipment as needed

　　General site cleanup as needed

　　Driving employees to their work stations as needed

　　Fueling pick-ups

　　Performing other assigned duties at the landfill as needed

　　Requirements:

　　At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position

　　Valid Driver's License

　　The ability to lift up to 75 pounds

　　Experience operating equipment is a plus

　　Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift

　　Mechanical ability is a plus.
