　　Duties, Responsibilities & Other

　　We are seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Alternative Energy team as a valuable member in Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the Design Engineering team, contributing to distributed generation (DG) and utility-scale environments. This role demands expertise in electrical infrastructure, SCADA, protective relaying, controls, and a deep understanding of national codes, including NEC and NESC.Design phase lead for all phases of solar and energy storage development & constructionReview electrical designs throughout project development, design, and construction phases, conduct advanced electrical modeling, and review equipment test reports and shop drawings.Provide priorities of work, feedback on initiatives, and establish new focus areas to drive continuous improvement, supporting leadership and engineering teams.Position Requirements:Must be a Professional Electrical Engineer with significant experience in PV and BESS projectsMust have expertise in electrical infrastructure, SCADA, protective relaying, and controls.Strong understanding of national codes, including NEC and NESC.Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineering team members.Innovative thinking and a collaborative mindsetPreferred experience:Familiarity with power generation, plant design, environmental compliance and multi-discipline industrial projects.Experience working on decarbonization design efforts through state-of-the-art technologies in renewable energy, carbon capture, and hydrogen pow.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Appropriate graduate level work. Master's degree preferred.6 - 10 years of professional experience.  PE Required.The target candidate will have experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects involving both overhead and underground engineering systems.Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.Strong writt n and verbal communication skills.Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
