The Sr. Director, Aurora Franchise Leader will have end-to-end ownership of one of Integra’s most important growth drivers. Key responsibilities will include launch execution of our next generation surgiscope platforms, procedure market development for minimally invasive neurosurgery, building strong KOL advocacy and education platforms, and establishing a clear path for future organic and inorganic innovation.
This individual will also work to build out a strong leadership presence in our Irvine facility, working to build high-performing and engaged teams, and inspiring strong cross-functional collaboration and talent development.

Business Planning & Execution: Develops and executes impactful strategic business plans, marketing plans and product launches; adopts a “general manager” mindset in achieving plan objectives of top-line revenue, gross margin, net income, and price capture.
Innovation & Portfolio Management: Sets direction in building and executing robust organic & inorganic innovation pipelines and technology roadmaps, inclusive of front-end, stage gate deliverables, post-launch support, and life-cycle management; advocates for new projects and prioritizes growth opportunities, presenting clear unmet clinical needs and business cases.
Customer Insights & Analytics : Utilizes market research tools and methodologies making; includes third party market research, voice customer techniques, observational studies, advisory panels, competitive analysis, and other systematic methodologies.
Brand Strategy: Serves as the subject matter expert for the Aurora franchise, including procedures/ surgical techniques, KOL/customer landscape, innovation landscape and competitive activity; builds robust marketing plans with strong value propositions, targeting, segmentation, positioning, and messaging development; owns the end-to-end lifecycle plan for the category.
Impactful Communication: Demonstrates impactful internal and external communication, with concise, compelling messages, and clear call to action supported by data; delivers effective presentations and demonstrates robust and timely communications with field sales and surgeon partners; leverages digital tools to expand reach and impact.
Talent Development: leads in creating an inclusive environment where colleagues are valued and empowered to fully contribute; facilitates transparent career and development discussions; builds strong talent pipelines and enables the company to be a "great place to work.
Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree required; Advanced Degree and/or MBA strongly preferred.
20+ years of total work experience required; 15+ years-experience in marketing and/or commercial functions within medical device or healthcare-related fields is required.
·Experience leading global upstream/strategic marketing for complex businesses is required, including demonstrated experience leading Strategic Planning and Business Planning processes.
·Deep understanding of global regulatory environments, healthcare trends, clinical trials, and health economics is required.
·Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to bring structure and process to vaguely defined problems is required.
·Strong project management, written communications, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
·Must be highly collaborative, with a proven ability to lead, operate and influence cross-functionally and to influence without authority.
·Demonstrated experience with market research methodologies with healthcare stakeholders, including Voice of Customer interviews and outcomes-driven-innovation is required.
·Prior people management experience required, with proven record of managing and developing employees.
·Prior global and/or international experience preferred.
