Tesla's Silicon Development Group is looking for a Design-for-Test (DFT)Design Verification Engineer to work on semi-custom ASICs. You will drivestate of the art in the area of testability and contribute to product coverageand quality by verifying the DFT features pre-silicon and by delivering testcontent for post-silicon.What You'll Do
Create Verilog/System Verilog test benches to verify various DFT features inRTL such as SSN, compressed and uncompressed scan, memory BIST, JTAG,and boundary scan at block and SoC-levelVerify top-level features such as power-on self-test, clock observation,clock stop and scan dumpRun DV regressions & analyze coverage, triage & debug failuresRun gatesimsWork with the RTL designers on identifying design fixes as neededWork with test engineers on delivering pre-Si DV testcases for silicon bringupHelp/Participate in silicon bring upWhat You'll Bring
Knowledge of testability techniques and features (1149.1, 1149.6,1687, 1500, Scan, Built-in-Self-Test, Loop-Back etc.) coveringdigital logic domain, embedded memories and PHY/IOsJTAG/1500/1687 networks and languages BSDL, ICL and PDLExperience in general design verification methodology, regressions,simulation and debug toolsExpertise in Verilog or System-VerilogWorking knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL, python (or anotherscripting language such as Perl)Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalentexperience with evidence of exceptional abilities in DFT verificationCompensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation
$88,400 - $306,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, includingmarket location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Thetotal compensation package for this position may also include other elementsdependent on the position offered.
