　　Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

　　GE Energy Management Services LLC seeks Sr. Data Scientist (multiple positions) to develop and improve new and existing analytics-based solutions to address customer needs and opportunities; Work alongside software designers, architects, developers, and engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services; Perform research on new techniques and technologies that can be leveraged to solve a data analytics problem; Perform code and UI development, review, and testing; Perform demos of the analytics applications and interacts with existing and potential customers; Play a pivotal role in customer projects related to the Transmission Grid Analytics applications – development, testing, delivery, training, and support; Mentor new members of the team to ramp them up on the new and existing Transmission Grid Analytics applications.

　　Qualifications / Requirements:

　　The position requires a Master’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related + 3 years of post - Master’s degree experience in a related field. The position also requires: 3 years of experience with Applied Data Analytics in Electrical Power Systems. 3 years of experience with data cleansing and data quality assessment. 3 years of experience using analytics for data assessment using applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction, and predictive analytics on industrial datasets. 1 year of experience with Python, R, HTML, Java, Plotly, Mapbox, Angular, AWS, or similar. 1 year of experience with utilization of data from various sources for analysis, such as EMS Network Model data, Geospatial Model data, or Weather forecast data. 100% Remote position. Telecommuting permitted.

　　The salary range for this position is $142,550 - $176,000.
