Senior Control Systems Engineer

　　Accenture’s ‘Industry X’ provides electrical and process control engineering, procurement, construction and management to the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries across Australia and overseas.

　　Applications are sought for a Senior Control Systems Engineer for a role based in our Perth office with occasional site work for project delivery as needed.

　　The position requires a highly motivated and pro-active individual, capable of working both as a team leader and member. A high level of client facing is required and you would be responsible for maintaining long-term customer relationships by displaying skills in both technical sales and engineering.

　　The position requires working across multiple industry sectors however, there is a specific requirement within this role for an in-depth knowledge of power generation systems comprising such disciplines as the following:

　　Power system monitoring and control

　　Generator control

　　Power management & load shedding

　　HV / LV electrical distribution

　　Design and Implementation of renewable energy systems

　　Application / Programming of Bay Controllers and Protection relays

　　Electrical asset performance and energy cost management

　　Skills Required:

　　Degree qualified engineer with at least 3 - 5 years of relative experience

　　Experience with a range of PLC/SCADA/RTU types and applications. Experience with Schneider Electric and Rockwell PLC and SCADA products will be highly regarded.

　　Practical site experience of automation and instrumentation systems

　　Commissioning and fault diagnosis experience essential

　　Estimating experience

　　Strong written communications skills with the ability to produce a high standard of technical documentation

　　Excellent interpersonal skills

　　Highly pro-active and motivated

　　Act as a mentor to junior staff

　　HV, ELV & LV design
