About the Role:

As a CBRE CAD Sr. Designer, you will design and prepare complex electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for large-scale projects.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare prints of various original plans and records agency use. Review updated various drawings for changes, using computer-aided drafting techniques.

Gather data to complete unique drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and prepare detailed reports.

Verify that the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.

Subject matter expert to acquire details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.

Review on-site information entered into the database to ensure current building conditions and data are accurate.

Have a broad knowledge of own job subject area and some knowledge of several job fields within the function.

Motivate and inspire team members, fostering a sense of collaboration and accountability.

Identify and leverage team members' strengths and suggest scope for improvement.

Provide direction, support, and motivation to team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of shown experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Ability to analyze solutions using experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. CAD Designer is $100,000 annually [or $48.07 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr. CAD Designer is $130,000 annually [or $62.50 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
