Description Project Overview:
As an Interim Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role in conducting audits for our clients, particularly focusing on HOAs, not-for-profits, and government entities. This part-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to our team during a specific project.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Expertise:
Lead and conduct audits for Homeowners' Associations, not-for-profits, and government entities.
Ensure adherence to audit standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
PPC and RIA Experience:
Utilize your experience with PPC (Practitioners Publishing Company) and RIA (Research Institute of America) methodologies in audit engagements.
Apply best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of audit processes.
Yellow Book CPE Requirement:
Yellow Book (Government Auditing Standards) Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
Stay informed about changes in Yellow Book standards and incorporate them into audit practices.
Financial Oversight:
Provide financial oversight and recommendations based on audit findings.
Collaborate with clients to address any identified financial or compliance concerns.
Client Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, addressing inquiries and providing insights.
Prepare and present audit reports and findings to client stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or relevant certification.
Proven experience as a Senior Auditor, with a focus on HOA, not-for-profit, and government audits.
Familiarity with PPC and RIA.
Preferred Yellow Book CPE requirement fulfillment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
