The Global Sourcing team supports seven key categories of goods and services across Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). Categories include Technology, Professional Services, Corporate Services/Facilities, Travel, Marketing, Production, and Distribution and helps build strategic relationships with key SPE vendors across them through a new Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program.
The SRM Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping and scaling SPE’s new SRM program. This role involves helping conduct analyses to inform SRM program strategy, analyzing supplier performance, monitoring compliance with contracts, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting strategic supplier relationships. The SRM Analyst will work closely with procurement, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure efficient and effective supplier interactions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities and one or more areas of the end-to-end source-to-contract process starting from opportunity identification, spend analysis, RFx, contract negotiation and renewals. Familiarity with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) software and tools is a plus. Core Responsibilities
Supplier Management Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of an SPE-wide SRM program, support supplier segmentation exercise across SPE categories, document new processes, policies and engagement models of the SRM program into SPE procurement playbook
Supplier Segmentation and Spend Analytics: Perform supplier segmentation and spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities to drive value.
Supplier Performance Analysis: Develop an evaluation criteria that highlights the relative strengths and weaknesses of potential partners to identify and prioritize opportunities. Regularly assess supplier performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identify trends and areas for improvement in supplier performance, collaborate with suppliers to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement
Supplier Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key SPE suppliers, facilitate regular communication and collaboration between the organization and suppliers, act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment and problem-solving. Increase trust with key suppliers through direct, honest constructive feedback framework to establish a foundation for mutual trust to address underlying challenges and unlock unrealized supplier partner value.
Internal alignment and adoption: Foster a mindset shift among business leaders and potential partners that enables openness to supplier partnerships. Develop and syndicate the supplier engagement playbook for path to value generating SPE supplier partnerships, as measured by alignment from procurement leadership and adoption of playbook across all categories
Sourcing: Develop category expertise and provide analysis that supports sourcing strategies in various categories for the procurement of goods and services. Support stakeholder meetings by preparing clear, fact-based, executive-level presentations that outline team recommendations.
Spend Analytics: Perform spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities to drive value. Contribute to continuous data enrichment to ensure spend data is accurate and provides useful business intelligence.
Negotiations: Support the review and drafting of contract business terms related to scope of work (SOW), service level agreements (SLA) and other business terms through traffic management of documents between corporate legal, infosec, risk, and other SPE departments as needed.
Trusted Advisor: Become knowledgeable about department functions to direct business inquiries to the proper teams. Provide support to teams within the department and internal SPE stakeholders by coordinating regular meetings for sourcing strategies, opportunities, and requirements. Proactively develop materials and agendas to maintain good meeting discipline and develop trusted relationships.
Agile: Continuously look for ways to improve the sourcing process and leverage new ways to drive faster cycle-time, reduce touchpoints, and increase the speed at which SPE does business. Collaborate with business partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive an agile process.
Job Requirements
Candidate must have a minimum of 3-4 years of analytics, corporate procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or similar experience.
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills including: Excel (including advance Excel functions), Microsoft Access, and PowerPoint
Must have experience or be willing to learn advanced data analytics (Power-BI, Tableau, etc.)
Must have experience or be willing to learn Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies.
Experience in Media and Entertainment, or Technology-based industries preferred.
Experience with Spend Analytics, and Source-to-Contract tools (e.g., Simfoni) preferred.
Familiarity or subject matter expertise in one of more relevant sourcing categories preferred.
The candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently and proactively identify potential areas for sourcing.

Education:
Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or Business required
CPM/CPSM/CSCP or other similar certifications preferred.
Agile/Scrum/Kanban or other similar certifications preferred.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $80,400-$107,700. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits.
