This position leads day-to-day efforts to ensure timely configuration management for multiple programs. Works at a professional level. Leads and facilitates Configuration Management (CM) practices including CM planning & management, CM identification, CM change control, CM verification & audit, and CM status accounting. Utilizes CM tools such as Teamcenter PDM (TC) to release and control engineering documentation. Ensures accurate EBOM data is transferred between Teamcenter PDM and SAP. Plans, tracks, compiles and delivers SDRLs. May perform some cost accounting and supports proposal activities for CM efforts. This position works under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages workflow for Configuration Management and Data Management for multiple programs
Identifies, processes, records, maintains, retrieves and compiles CM data to support product development and approval process
Experienced in the use of the Teamcenter Product Data Management tool and is responsible for the overall quality of Teamcenter implemented business processes
Tests TC functionality that has been developed or modified and provides ongoing maintenance of TC system Training materials.
Demonstrated ability to author or change a CM plan and resolve issues for its implementation
Serves in a leadership role to identify and engage business process subject matter experts, in project planning sessions with customers, business analysts, and team members.
Manages audits records and develops corrective actions to assure data accuracy.
Works with customers to prioritize tasks and reports task status and conformance to plans
Creates, evaluates and implements advanced CM concepts that improve processes to support business needs either independently or as a member of cross functional teams
Has strong verbal and written communication skills and proven presentation skills
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
In lieu of degree 10+ years of experience in Configuration Management.

Aerospace Engineering experience preferred
