　　What You'll Do

　　Deploy traditional and non-traditional actuarial skills and training in new and innovative ways to support Uber's Commercial Auto, General Liability, and other coverages through the estimation of unpaid claims liability and prospective loss costsContribute to both the Corporate Pricing and Quarterly Reserving Processes, including data creation and validation, analysis and selections, internal and external communication, as well as financial implementationBuild detailed claims analysis and data visualization tools to inform actuarial selections and to identify operational opportunities in Uber's business, litigation, and claims functionsWork closely with various parties, including insurance finance, litigation, data science, claims analytics, and your actuarial peers in the development of analytical models and deliverablesCommunicate/present analysis findings to actuarial management

　　Basic Qualifications

　　4+ CAS Exams and a minimum of 3 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) actuarial experienceBA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Excellent Excel skillsACAS or FCAS designationPersonal or commercial auto insurance experience a plusPrior reserving, large account pricing, or reinsurance experience preferredStrong with SQL, experience with R or PythonBalance attention to detail with swift and practical executionGreat communication and organization skills, ability to multitask and be a team playerEnthusiasm about Uber!
