Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing and distribution industry at our location in Coconut Creek, Florida. We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be handling a variety of tasks, including the reconciliation of accounts, the preparation of financial statements, and the use of a largely utilized ERP software.

Responsibilities:

• Performing account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations

• Handling bank reconciliations

• Preparing financial statements in accordance with established timelines

• Processing journal entries and performing month end close processes

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Working closely with the distribution and wholesale teams to understand and account for financial transactions

• Ensuring financial operations in the small office and corporate headquarters are run efficiently

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Capability to handle Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance

• Expertise in Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ related required
