We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in Bella Vista, Arkansas. This role involves ensuring financial integrity across a range of business operations and providing crucial support to our diverse units across the organization

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to management.

• Oversee high-level reconciliations, including fixed assets, deferred revenue, and other specialized accounts.

• Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of detailed journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Review and approve work submitted by Staff Accountants.

• Monitor compliance with internal controls and policies, recommending updates to improve operational efficiency.

• Train and mentor Staff Accountants and Specialists, serving as a resource for resolving complex accounting issues.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of a designated accounting function, developing expertise in the area and serving as the primary point of contact.

• Prepare detailed schedules and reports for management review related to assigned processes.

• Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects, such as system implementations or financial modeling.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Demonstrable knowledge of General Ledger management

• Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is crucial

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a plus

• Experience with Oracle software is desirable

• Familiarity with SAP software is beneficial
