Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact
Other projects as required
Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics) Requirements - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
Efficient in ERP systems
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Financial reporting systems proficiency
Strong familiarity with Excel Formulas
Fixed Asset Accounting experience
Accruals experience
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
